Dr. Eddie Watson and OER at Virginia Tech, Monday Nov 16th

Please help me in sharing this information widely. Events on Monday, Nov 16th will be of interest to teaching faculty and administrators, curriculum decision-makers, those concerned about student affordability and academic success, and librarians and instructional designers that work with faculty. All events are free and open to the public. Registration is requested.

On Monday, Nov. 16, the University Libraries, Technology-enhanced Learning and Online Strategies (TLOS), and the Center for Instructional Development and Educational Research (CIDER) at Virginia Tech will welcome Dr. Eddie Watson. Dr. Watson is director of the Center for Teaching and Learning at the University of Georgia and expert on Open Educational Resources (OER). He will be leading several workshops.

Open Educational Resources (OER) have saved students at University of Georgia $2 Million in 2013-2016.
