Restoring Deleted Items in Canvas
Occasionally, we delete an item in Canvas – intentionally or accidently. When we find we need that deleted file, what do we do? In Canvas, you can recover deleted items such as pages, assignments, and announcements. To restore a deleted item, start by going to the home page of the course where you want to restore the item. Navigate to the URL and type /undelete at the end of the course number. Press Enter to open the Restore Deleted Items page. Search for the deleted item and select the Restore button. Finally, return to the course and search for the content to verify it was restored.
