ADOPT PRE-EXISTING OER RESOURCES
VIVA is accepting applications for our $2,000 adopt grants for faculty who need the time and resources to adopt pre-existing Open Educational Resources (OER), such as those found in VIVA Open, the Open Textbook Library, and OER Commons, into their courses. The deadline for these applications is November 13, 2024.
CREATE OER TEXTBOOKS OR ANCILLARY MATERIALS / SUPPORT LARGE-SCALE ADOPTION BY DEPARTMENTS OR PROGRAMS
VIVA Open Course Grants, which offer $10,000-$50,000 to create new textbooks, develop ancillary materials to accompany preexisting OER, and support departments’ or programs’ large-scale adoption work, will open for applications in November.
